Swift second-half comeback secures win over Seagulls
Two goals in two second-half minutes saw us come from behind to defeat Brighton & Hove Albion in the Barclays Women's Super League at Brisbane Road on Sunday afternoon.
Having fallen behind with just two minutes on the clock as Fran Kirby stroked home from inside the area, we didn't look our usual selves in a somewhat stifled first half. However, after the break, it was an entirely different story as we quickly turned the game on its head with Signe Gaupset levelling just six minutes into the second period before Olivia Holdt guided in what turned out to be the winner.
From that point, we were largely untroubled and perhaps should have enjoyed a greater margin of victory but, most importantly all three points were secured which moves us back up to fourth in the league.
