Our captain, Drew Spence, has today set a new all-time record for career appearances by any player in the Barclays Women’s Super League.
The midfielder, who starts our trip to Birmingham City, moves onto 217 games in the competition, spanning her time with us and Chelsea.
She moved level with retired former Chelsea defender Millie Bright in last weekend’s north London derby at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium.
Congratulations, Drew!
