Crystal Palace's first visit to Tottenham was over 120 years ago!

That was in the Southern League back on 6 October, 1906 as goals from James Reid (2) and Joe Walton saw us home 3-0 in front of 20,000 fans packed into White Hart Lane.

It took another 50 years before we hosted the Eagles for the first time in the Football League - Boxing Day, 1969 - where a certain youngster called Steve Perryman scored his first Spurs goal in a 2-0 win in the old First Division.

As we've documented, Palace have been the opposition for a number of firsts, none more so than the opening of Tottenham Hotspur Stadium in April, 2019.

Will there be another first on Saturday?
