Our Under-18s face a fresh opponent this weekend, travelling to league newcomers AFC Bournemouth – now with a revised kick-off time of 11.30am GMT.
After a storming start to the season that saw us remain unbeaten until the middle of October, Jamie Carr’s side are now without a win in two Under-18 Premier League matches and will be targeting a return to form against the Cherries, who are one of two clubs to have entered the division for the first time this year.
We battled back from 2-0 down to draw 2-2 at home to West Ham United last Saturday, while the hosts were 2-0 winners at Birmingham City.
We have visited Bournemouth twice in the FA Youth Cup in recent years, but this weekend will represent a first in the Under-18 Premier League.
