Roberto De Zerbi reports that Lucas Bergvall and Savio are out of our Premier League match against Coventry City at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium on Monday evening (8pm UK).
Lucas picked up a knee issue in a challenge that created an early chance for Dominic Solanke in last weekend’s draw against Manchester United at Old Trafford. Savio could be out ‘for some weeks’ with a muscle problem.
Speaking at his pre-match press conference at Hotspur Way on Sunday morning, Roberto said: “Savio, unfortunately, on Tuesday, before we left for Marbella, he felt a he felt a muscular problem and we lost him for some weeks, unfortunately.”
Asked again for a possible timeline for the winger, Roberto added: “I don't know, but some weeks for sure.”
On Lucas, Roberto explained: “Lucas had a problem at the beginning of the game in Manchester, the first chance we created with Solanke, when he regained the ball, his knee… he felt pain. He finished the game, but the day after, (last) Sunday, he came to the training ground to our medical staff. I think two weeks.”
Meanwhile, Roberto suggested Pedro Porro could be available for next week's derby against Chelsea at Stamford Bridge as he continues to recover from a hamstring injury. "I think he's coming - maybe in Chelsea he can play," he said.
