Rania Oukriss has received her maiden call-up for the England Under-19 squad for their first round of UEFA Women’s Under-19 Euro qualifying.
The creative midfielder has been selected by coach John Salomon, alongside goalkeeper Sophie Jackson, for their three fixtures against Denmark, Switzerland and Bosnia & Herzegovina next month.
The first game takes place on Wednesday 7 October, 2026, against the Danes in Doboj (12pm UK) before facing Switzerland three days later (12pm UK) and rounding off with Bosnia & Herzegovina on Tuesday 13 October (12pm UK) – with the last two matches taking place in Zenica.
Involved with the first team in the World Sevens Tournament at the end of the 2025/26 campaign, the 18-year-old has netted four goals so far this term, including a hat-trick in the FA Women’s National League Cup group stage fixture against London Bees in August.
Elsewhere, Lenna Gunning-Williams returns to the England Under-23s squad for their WU23 European Competition fixture against Norway at GNER Stadium on Monday 12 October, 2026.
