Internationals | Duo find the net for Young Lions
Two players who have come through the ranks at Hotspur Way were on the scoresheet for their respective England youth teams on Tuesday.
After a debut goal last week, Mikey Moore made it two goals in two appearances for England's Under-20s, scoring their second in a 2-1 win over France in the U20 Elite League.
Mikey, who is spending the season on loan at Bundesliga side FC Koln, has captained Darren Moore’s side in each of his first two appearances at the age category.
Meanwhile, Luca Williams-Barnett scored his first goal for England’s Under-19s after making his debut as a substitute in their 1-0 win over Ireland last Friday.
Luca opened the scoring for the Young Lions in their 2-1 friendly win over Norway, before being substituted after 70 minutes.
Malachi Hardy, who played the duration of last week’s friendly win over Ireland Under-19s at St George’s Park, was an unused substitute against Norway in Marbella, Spain.
Next up for Luca and Malachi is a friendly against the USA in Marbella on Friday, 2 October (3pm UK time), before facing Belgium on Monday, 5 October (12pm UK time).
Mikey and his England Under-20s teammates will look to maintain their perfect start to their Elite League campaign with a victory over Germany on Saturday, 3 October (4.30pm UK time) in Alicante, Spain.
