Heidi Hills will be part of the Wales’ senior squad as a training player for next month’s FIFA Women’s World Cup play-offs.
The young defender will join Rhian Wilkinson’s squad and be part of their preparations for the two-legged play-off tie against Albania in the first round of qualifiers for next summer’s tournament in Brazil.
The 18-year-old received her maiden call-up for Wales in June, 2026, after she was named in the Under-19s squad for the first time and featured in a friendly against Denmark.
Her involvement with the senior squad comes after being part of Martin Ho’s squad for the pre-season training camp in Spain last month and has been training regularly with the first time in recent weeks.
