Our Women’s Under-19s will begin their pre-season schedule with a friendly at Peterborough United on Sunday (2pm UK) at Pims Park – and tickets are still available for supporters to watch our youngsters in action.
Ahead of the start of the Professional Game Academy League campaign on Wednesday 19 August – beginning with a trip to Southampton – our young side take on The Posh, who will compete in the third tier of Women’s football pyramid, in a unique challenge against senior opposition.
Matt Sharman’s side have been in pre-season training for a number of weeks now and has welcomed nine new players to the Under-19s squad, all stepping up from the Under-16s side from last term.
