Tottenham Hotspur Women will take part in World Sevens Football (W7F) in its first-ever London edition next month.
Following huge success in W7F’s previous two editions – in Estoril, Portugal, and Fort Lauderdale, Florida – the event will be hosted for the first time in the capital at Brentford FC’s Gtech Community Stadium, taking place from 28-30 May, 2026.
Our Women’s Managing Director Andy Rogers said: "We're excited to take on a brand new challenge. The World Sevens is a fast-paced competition which can present us with new perspectives on the pitch, while also bringing the fans ever-closer to the action. As a Club that embraces flare, style and passion, we are delighted to be joining such a creative, fan-first competition this May."
We will be one of the eight teams from the Women’s Super League that will form the exciting new competition. The W7F event format comprises a small-sided 7-v-7 game on a reduced natural grass pitch, 30-minute matches, and rolling substitutions across a three-day tournament.
With a strong focus on a unique atmosphere and experience for supporters in the stands, all games will take place at Gtech Community Stadium, offering the opportunity to watch a number of games and clubs.
Tickets for the event are now on sale and three-day packages are available at worldsevens.com.
