Tottenham Hotspur to face London rivals in Perth to kick off Asia-Pacific Tour 2023
We are delighted to announce that our Men’s First Team will visit Perth to take on London rivals West Ham United on Tuesday 18 July (KO time TBC).
The derby clash at the stunning 60,000-capacity Optus Stadium kicks off the Club’s Asia-Pacific Tour 2023, which will also include visits to two additional Asian cities for further matches – details to be confirmed.
Tickets for the West Ham match will be made available to Season Ticket Holders, One Hotspur Members and Official Supporters’ Club members in an exclusive pre-sale from tomorrow (Friday 24 March) at 12pm (Perth time). An area designated to Spurs fans is available behind the goal in the stadium’s West Stand – Members are advised to select seats in this area during the pre-sale ahead of the general sale commencing on Monday 27 March at 10am (Perth time). Further details on how to purchase tickets will be communicated directly via email.
Kicking-off our Asia-Pacific Tour 2023 in Australia
This will be the Club’s third visit to Australia in the past eight years, having made a post-season trip to Sydney in 2015 to take on Sydney FC at a sold-out Stadium Australia, before competing in the International Champions Cup at the Melbourne Cricket Ground a year later alongside Juventus and Atletico Madrid.
The Club has a well-established and passionate fanbase Down Under – 11 Official Supporters’ Clubs form part of the wider ‘Oz Spurs’ movement, with branches in Adelaide, Brisbane, Cairns, Darwin, Gold Coast, Melbourne, Mornington Peninsula, Newcastle, Sydney, Tasmania and Perth.
Ledley King, Club Ambassador, is in Perth this week to announce the match alongside Western Australia Government representatives and West Ham Ambassador, Carlton Cole, taking part in a meet and greet with Perth Spurs members and visiting local tourist attractions Perth Zoo and Margaret River.
It’s a precursor to the tour itself when, as is Club tradition, players and staff will be engaging in a range of activities to engage with our fanbase, support good causes, deliver grassroots football programmes and celebrate local culture across all cities we visit.
