New deal for Trippier

We are delighted to announce that Kieran Trippier has signed a new contract with the Club, which will run until 2022.

The attacking right-back, 26, has made 41 appearances for us since joining from Burnley in June, 2015.

Kieran finished our last campaign strongly, appearing in the FA Cup semi-final, as well as home wins against Arsenal and Manchester United, as he registered five assists in total - the joint highest number from a defender in the Premier League in 2016/17.

He also made his Champions League debut in our 1-0 away victory over CSKA Moscow - one of 22 appearances in all competitions last term.

Having represented his country from Under-18 through to Under-21 level, Kieran earned his first senior call up this summer and went on to make his England debut in Paris in a friendly match against France.
