What We Do

  • Employment & Skills

    Employment Main Graphic

The Employment and Skills team works with residents in north London and Hertfordshire to develop vocational skills, gain work experience and access local job opportunities. We've helped over 600 participants of all ages and backgrounds into employment.

We offer a range of programmes, including apprenticeships, traineeships, vocational qualifications, and one-to-one employment support. We are a key partner with the Barnet and Southgate College Centre of Excellence for students with learning difficulties and disabilities. We support them into traineeships and to gain qualifications leading to paid work.

The success of these programmes comes from working with a wide range of partners including including local authorities, grassroots community organisations, colleges, health advice and support providers, Jobcentre Plus and local businesses.

    Traineeships

Traineeships are a pathway into paid employment where participants gain work experience, new skills and qualifications, a reference and one-to-one advice and guidance.
