Emerging Talent Centre

Commencing in September for the 2021/22 season, our Emerging Talent Centre is for players, aged nine to 13, who have been identified with ‘emerging talent’ from either our Girls-Only Evening Player Development Courses, by our Talent ID Staff or at one of our Open Trials.

Players will be invited for weekly sessions focused on developing their game through the application of our technical DNA and player development framework. Players will have access to Sports Therapy Clinics, Educational Workshops, Residential Trips and the opportunity to represent Tottenham Hotspur Women during school holidays.

Players in our Emerging Talent Centre must either take part in a different sport regularly or play for a grassroots football club. Our staff will work with the grassroots club to ensure there is an holistic approach to the player's development.

Key features of the programme include:

  • One training session per week - in an attempt to reduce weekly travelling time
  • Players must play for a grassroots club or another sport
  • Sports Therapy Clinics
  • Education Workshops
  • Fixtures for Tottenham Hotspur in school holidays
  • Joined up approach to development with each player's school and grassroots club
  • Players play local weekend football with friends at foundation phase
  • Grassroots coaches will gain CPD opportunities

Trial applications for our Emerging Talent Centre are now closed. Keep an eye out on Club channels for more details.
