Spurs in Melbourne | Squad arrives Down Under

The players have arrived in Melbourne for our post-season match against Newcastle United at the famous MCG on Wednesday (7.45pm local, 10.45am UK).

The squad departed straight for East Midlands Airport after beating Sheffield United 3-0 in our final Premier League game on Sunday, securing a place in the UEFA Europa League next season.

The travelling party landed early on Tuesday morning in Melbourne and this evening, local time, will train in front of our fans at an open training session at the city's AAMI Park.

Part of Global Football Week Melbourne, the match at the MCG, the world-renowned 100,000 home of cricket and Aussie Rules, represents a return home for Ange Postecoglou, who was brought up in Melbourne.

Our first return to the city since 2016, the trip will also see our Global Football Development team holding sessions for aspiring young footballers and legendary former skipper and Club Ambassador get together with members of Oz Spurs, our ever-growing Official Supporters' Club in Australia.
