Sheffield United vs Spurs | How to watch, team news, kit colours, key information

Sun 19 May 2024, 00:46|Tottenham Hotspur

Already-relegated Sheffield United are our hosts for the final game of the Premier League season on Sunday (kick-off 4pm UK).

The Blades cannot finish any higher than bottom of the table while we know that a point or more would rubber-stamp fifth place and a spot in the Europa League for next season.

Here’s all you need to know ahead of the match...

How can I watch the game?

Sunday’s match has not been selected for live television broadcast in the UK, but fear not – you can follow all the action via our Match Centre here on and the Spurs Official app, where you’ll find live text updates and audio commentary, images, stats and more.

Video highlights will be available on SPURSPLAY from two hours after the game, with a full match replay available from midnight on the same platform.

Overseas broadcast listings are available here.

What is the team news?

Giovani Lo Celso is a doubt for the game after taking a knock in the midweek defeat to Manchester City.

Yves Bissouma (knee), Richarlison (calf), Ben Davies (calf), Timo Werner (hamstring), Destiny Udogie (quadriceps), Manor Solomon (knee), Fraser Forster (foot) and Ryan Sessegnon (hamstring) all remain sidelined for us.

Oliver Arblaster should be available for Sheffield United despite a recent calf issue while Anel Ahmedhodzic returns from suspension.

Who is the referee?

Sunday’s referee will be Andy Madley.

His assistants will be Harry Lennard and Nick Hopton, with Tom Nield as the fourth official.

VAR duties will be looked after by Tim Robinson and Mark Scholes.

What colours will the teams be playing in?

Sheffield United will be in their familiar red and white striped shirts with black shorts and black socks.

We’ll therefore change to our navy blue away shirts, navy blue shorts and white socks.

The hosts’ goalkeeper will play in green, with ours in yellow.

What will the weather conditions be like?

It’s due to be a bright, sunny day in Sheffield on Sunday, with temperatures at around 21 degrees.
