Ange nominated for October's Premier League Manager of the Month award

Thu 02 November 2023, 12:00|Tottenham Hotspur

Another month, another Barclays Premier League Manager of the Month award nomination for Ange Postecoglou.

Having already created history as the first manager to win the award in each of their first two months in the competition, our Head Coach is in the running once again after guiding us to maximum points from our three games in October.

It has been a record-breaking start to life in the English top flight for the Australian who made Premier League history to register 26 points in his first 10 games in charge which sees us sit top of the table.

Our best start to a league season since 1960/61 keeps on getting better as our unbeaten run reached double figures following our 2-1 win away to Crystal Palace in our last outing on 27 October. We showed a steely side to our performances throughout the month, starting with a battling display to beat Luton Town at Kenilworth Road despite being a man down, backing this up with a clinical display to beat Fulham 2-0 at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium before completing a hat-trick of victories at Selhurst Park, coming just minutes away from a third consecutive clean sheet.

Ange's nomination for the award also makes it three months on the spin that our manager and a Spurs player has been shortlisted for the prize with Cristian Romero nominated for October after already completing a "double double" with James Maddison and Heung-Min Son winning the accolade in August and September respectively.

The Australian is up against Arsenal's Mikel Arteta, Aston Villa's Unai Emery and Liverpool's Jurgen Klopp. As usual, you can help Ange create more history by voting for him via the link below. That vote is now open and will close on Friday 10 November at 12noon.
