Our Global Football Development (GFD) team kicked-off their busy schedule in Korea with a Player Development session at Seongnam Football Centre on Monday morning, local time.
GFD coaches Nick Hardy and Danny Mitchell put together a two-hour technical training session for a group of 40 boys aged 10-12 from K League side Seongnam FC. The K League is Korea's national football league, and Seongnam FC play in K League 1, the top division. We play Team K League in the first match of the Coupang Play Series at Seoul World Cup Stadium on Wednesday (12noon UK, 8pm local).
Danny and Nick's session began with an introduction, followed by a practical training session giving young players an insight into the Club's coaching philosophy. The coaches then answered questions in a Q&A session.
Chris Acaster, Senior Business Development Manager, Global Football Development, said: "It’s fantastic to be here in Korea and commence our Global Football Development tour programme. We're all looking forward to a busy week working with local players and coaches."
Tottenham Hotspur’s Global Football Development coaches deliver world-class technical and development programmes for players and coaches across the globe, providing each individual with the opportunity to play the game, learn and develop their skills with the flair, fluidity and attacking football which are the hallmarks of Spurs.
