Welcoming our new Official Supporters’ Clubs!

Mon 04 May 2020, 11:33|Tottenham Hotspur

Despite the football hiatus due to the COVID-19 pandemic, a passion for Tottenham Hotspur endures across our global fanbase, with two new Official Supporters’ Clubs recently coming on board.

The formation of Cambridgeshire Spurs in the UK and Sri Lanka Spurs in Asia takes our ever-growing number of clubs worldwide to 272.

Like fans everywhere, our newest club members are currently unable to meet up and watch matches together, but we are delighted to welcome them to the Spurs family.

Clubs supporting their local communities in the face of COVID-19

On top of their existing charitable work, we are extremely proud of the ways in which our Official Supporters’ Clubs are supporting their local communities during the COVID-19 pandemic.

• In Northern Ireland, members of Maiden City Spurs have provided essential supplies for NHS staff at their local hospital.
• In Canada, Toronto Spurs have built a community support network, with members volunteering their time to run errands for those who are vulnerable or self-isolating.
• After raising money for their local hospital, Maidenhead Spurs have supported the production of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
• Across the pond in the US, DC Spurs and Louisville Spurs have raised funds for staff at their home pubs, whose jobs have been impacted by the lockdown.

We want to hear more great stories about how your club is making a difference in the local community.

Submit your stories and photos to Supporters.Clubs@tottenhamhotspur.com and we’ll cover them across Club channels.
