We're counting down the hours to the first Premier League match at our new stadium against Crystal Palace this evening.
It will be one of the biggest nights in the Club’s history and fans are advised to arrive and take their seats early for the pre-match Opening Ceremony. A reminder that we kick-off at 7.45pm and the stadium will open at 4.45pm.
Here is everything you need to know about our inaugural Premier League opponents at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium.
Team news
Central defender Mamadou Sakho is the only player unavailable for selection for Crystal Palace manager Roy Hodgson ahead of tonight’s encounter as the French international remains sidelined with a knee injury.
One to watch
Reliably lethal from the penalty spot, Luka Milivojevic has been a constant fixture in the Eagles line-up this season, playing every minute in the Premier League.
Hailing from Serbia, Milivojevic began his career with his local team Radnicki Kragujevac before moving to the Serbian capital for spells at Rad and Red Star Belgrade. In 2013, he left his homeland to join Anderlecht but within a year he had moved to Greek giants Olympiacos, where his performances attracted admirers from south London.
In January, 2017, the midfielder arrived at Selhurst Park when Palace were struggling at the wrong end of the table but his performances in the second half of the campaign were instrumental in keeping the Eagles in the top flight that year.
Midway through the 2017/18 season, Milivojevic was appointed Palace captain by manager Roy Hodgson and once again, his performances, including his 10 league goals, helped preserve his side’s Premier League status.
The Serbian international has scored 22 goals for the south London outfit - all coming in the Premier League - with 18 from the penalty spot.

Previous clash
Our sequence of 1-0 wins against Palace came to an end in the fourth round of the FA Cup at Selhurst Park at the end of January. First half goals from Connor Wickham and Andros Townsend sealed the deal although we had chances to get back into the game just before the break – Georges Kevin-Nkoudou saw two point-blank efforts saved by Julian Speroni while Kieran Trippier sent a penalty the wrong side of the post.
Further opportunities came for us in the second period but Speroni was once again able to thwart our advances, sealing our exit from the competition.
Palace’s form
Four wins in their last seven league outings has seen Palace continue to put distance between themselves and the bottom three - a gap of eight points.
They may have suffered a disappointing home defeat in the M23 derby with Brighton on 9 March, but comfortable away wins over Leicester City (4-1) and Burnley (3-1), as well as a 2-0 triumph over Huddersfield Town last time out has put the Eagles on course to extend their stay in the Premier League to a seventh season.
Magic moment
Back in 2016, at the age of just 19 and just six months into his Spurs career, Dele Alli scored a goal Spurs fans will certainly never forget in a 3-1 win over the Eagles at Selhurst Park.
The midfielder fired in volley from 25 yards - but it was the technique and skill demonstrated to create the shooting opportunity that will always be remembered.
Receiving the ball on the edge of the box after Christian Eriksen had knocked down Harry Kane’s cross, Dele controlled and then flicked the ball over the head of the on-running Miles Jedinak before spinning and volleying past Wayne Hennessey.
The strike was named BBC Match of the Day’s Goal of the Season as well as scooping our Supporters’ Clubs’ Goal of the Season.
Played for both
Lightning-paced forward Frazier Campbell spent the 2008/09 season with us on loan before later representing the Eagles between 2014 and 2017.
Having come through the youth system at Manchester United, the striker was afforded few opportunities in the first team at Old Trafford and spent three consecutive seasons out on loan, first at Royal Antwerp, then at Hull City before joining us in 2008.
In his single campaign with us, Fraizer made 22 appearances in all competitions, scoring three goals, including a brace in a 4-1 win over Liverpool in the League Cup.
Also turning out for Sunderland and Cardiff City in his career, the England international moved to Selhurst Park in 2014 and made a half-century of appearances for the Eagles, scoring eight times before returning to Hull in 2017 where he remains scoring goals to this day - he has 11 so far this season.
What they’re saying
Addressing members of the media in his news conference on Tuesday afternoon ahead of his Palace side becoming the first Premier League visitors to our new stadium, manager Roy Hodgson admitted he is very much looking forward to the ‘wonderful ocassion’.
"It looks very impressive, from the type of things that have been shown on TV; a 3D presentation. It is going to be absolute state-of-the-art and that is what you expect,” he said.
"I know Daniel Levy and his people have spent a lot of time researching other stadiums to take the best from all of those and that’s the way it tends to go with football stadia.
"Each one is the next 'big one' and is slightly better than the ones before because they iron out any faults and take the best bits with them.
"It is going to be a wonderful occasion for the people who are there, and it is going to be a great occasion for the players."
