Dele Alli is delighted to be coming home this weekend - and feels we're in good shape going into our final pre-season match against Inter on Sunday.

It's the fifth high-profile match of the summer and our third in the International Champions Cup (ICC) having played Juventus and Manchester United in Asia. We also beat Real Madrid and Bayern Munich to lift the Audi Cup earlier this week.

The real thing starts on Saturday week (10 August) when we take on Aston Villa at home in our Premier League opener.

We’re all excited to be back home. The fans love it and the atmosphere is incredible. As players, it’s great to have a stadium we can now call home

"The team is looking good," said Dele, raring to go for his fifth season at the Club. "Everyone is fighting for the team and for their place in the team.

"We've played some of the top teams in the world in pre-season and that’s where we’ve set our standards, where we want to be. Maybe two or three years ago we wanted to be competing with these teams, now we feel we belong there and we want to beat them.

"We’re all excited to be back home on Sunday. We’ve been away for a little while now (our last home game was on 12 May) and in the few games we played last season it felt like home. The fans love it and the atmosphere is incredible. As players, it’s great to have a stadium we can now call home."
