On Sunday afternoon we returned to winning ways in the Premier League, dispatching Aston Villa 2-1 at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium.
Pierre-Emile Hojbjerg gave us the lead in the first half with a fine finish from the edge of the box on 27 minutes, however the visitors pulled level midway through the second period as Ollie Watkins prodded home from close range on 68 minutes. Despite that setback, within three minutes we were back in the lead and had our winner as, after brilliant work from Heung-Min Son down the left, Villa’s Matt Targett diverted the South Korean’s cross into his own net under pressure from Lucas Moura.
