Tottenham Hotspur
We finished off our 2020/21 Premier League campaign in style on Sunday afternoon as we twice came from behind to defeat Leicester City 4-2 at the King Power Stadium.
It was the hosts who took the lead through a Jamie Vardy penalty on 18 minutes as they pressed on in their fight for a Champions League place, but we responded well and were deservedly level come half-time thanks to a fine finish from Harry Kane. Seven minutes after the restart though, Leicester were back in front - once more, it was Vardy converting from the spot. However, with European qualification hanging in the balance, securing all three points was a necessity for us.
We showed great desire to get back on terms once again and, ultimately, with a slice of good fortune, our spirit and resolve paid off on 76 minutes, as Foxes goalkeeper Kasper Schmeichel diverted Heung-Min Son's corner into his own net. That equaliser turned the momentum in our favour.
With three minutes remaining, substitute Gareth Bale put us in front for the first time as he drilled home from the edge of the box. He then wrapped up the win with his second and our fourth of the encounter in the final seconds of injury time. The victory secured us seventh spot in the Premier League and a place in the newly-created Europa Conference League. Here’s a look at the key numbers and statistics from the game…
Leicester outfoxed
2.5 - Sunday was our first victory at the King Power Stadium in two-and-a-half years. We last won at Leicester’s home ground in December, 2018 (2-0).
15 – We have now scored in each of our last 15 trips to Leicester and in 20 of the last 22 Premier League meetings between the sides.
6 – Leicester have failed to win any of their last six final day Premier League outings, losing three and drawing three, with two of their three defeats coming against us.

On the front foot
84 – Gareth Bale averaged a goal every 84 minutes in the Premier League this season. For players with 10+ goals in a single campaign, only Ole Gunnar Solskjaer in 1998/99 has a better minutes-to-goals ratio (one every 71 minutes) in the history of the competition.

37 – In the Premier League alone, the England frontman recorded 37 goal contributions to top both the goals (23) and the assists (14) charts. He is only the second player in the history of the competition to manage that feat outright since Andy Cole in 1993/94. His 37 goal contributions also saw him register his best-ever Premier League campaign, beating his previous best of 36 in 2016/17.
