App exclusive: The game in numbers - LASK 3-3 Spurs

Fri 04 December 2020, 09:00|Tottenham Hotspur

On Thursday night, we booked our place in the Europa League’s round of 32 with a 3-3 draw with LASK in Austria.

Our hosts had taken the lead in Linz through Peter Michorl on 42 minutes, but we went into the break on level terms as Gareth Bale slotted home the equaliser from the penalty spot on the stroke of half-time. Then, 11 minutes after the restart, Heung-Min Son put us ahead for the first time in the game, yet the home side managed to get back on terms with just six minutes remaining through Johannes Eggestein.

We quickly responded though, finding the lead once more just two minutes later as Dele clipped home from the penalty spot. However, we were ultimately made to settle for a point as LASK got themselves level once more with Mamoudou Karamoko firing home deep into stoppage time.
