What is the team news?

The trip to City is ‘too soon’ for full-back Ella Morris, but she could be available for minutes against Arsenal the following weekend.

Jess Naz, Maite Oroz and Luana Buhler are long-term absentees, while Clare Hunt, Toko Koga and Maika Hamano remain involved in the Women’s Asian Cup and won’t be in contention.

As for City, their boss Andree Jeglertz confirmed that former Spur Grace Clinton, who spent the 2023/24 campaign on loan with us, will miss the clash at Joie Stadium on Saturday having not trained with the squad this week.

They will also be without Yui Hasegawa, Aoba Fujino and Mary Fowler, who are also competing in the Women’s Asian Cup.

Who is the referee?

Abigail Byrne will take charge at Joie Stadium on Saturday, assisted by Nicoleta Bria and Anastasiya Voloshchuk.

The fourth official will be Megan Wilson.

What kit colours will the teams be wearing?

City will line up in sky blue shirts with a white sash across the front, complete with white shorts and sky blue socks.

We’ll change to our all-black away kit for the trip up north.

City’s keeper will wear pink, with ours in orange.

What will the weather be like?

Fog and mist may linger around in the morning but it’s expected to clear up and leave plenty of sunshine for the remainder of the day. Temperatures at around 15 degrees.
