Bethany England reached the milestone of 200 Women’s Super League appearance in Saturday’s trip to Arsenal.
The forward came on as a second half substitute at the Emirates and, in doing so, achieved the personal landmark of 200 matches in England’s top flight – becoming just the seventh player to do so in the competition.
She marked the special occasion by netting a goal in the closing stages to make it 4-2 in the contest at the time, but it didn’t spark a late comeback as the Gunners went on to record a 5-2 victory.

When asked about reaching that landmark in the WSL, she told SPURSPLAY after the game: "Obviously really proud. There's only a few of us in that category and, like I say, I feel like I've been in this league a very long time.
"I'm very proud and privileged to have been in this league so long and having made such an impact in different clubs. Yes, hopefully many more to come and continue pushing, but I'm very proud of what I've been able to achieve so far in the league."
