Igor Tudor has confirmed that three players will miss our Premier League clash with Liverpool at Anfield on Sunday, 15 March, in his pre-match press conference.
Cristian Romero and Joao Palhinha have been ruled out after the pair clashed heads in the latter stages of our Champions League Round of 16 first leg away to Atletico Madrid.
Yves Bissouma will also miss the trip to Merseyside with a muscular problem, whilst Micky van de Ven had already been confirmed to be suspended following his red card in our last match against Crystal Palace.
Tudor further revealed that Conor Gallagher has been unwell this week, but could still be involved in Sunday’s matchday squad, and that Destiny Udogie is close to returning from his hamstring injury and will be available in the coming games.
“No, they are out,” Tudor said when asked about the availability of Cuti and Joao following their collision on Tuesday night.
“Micky is also out. (Yves) Bissouma is out with problems with the muscles, and Conor (Gallagher) has some fever, but probably he will be in. So we have again, a lot of problems to make the first 11.”
