All eyes turn to Tottenham Hotspur Stadium on Thursday night as we take on Crystal Palace looking for the all-important three points to turn fortunes around in the Premier League (kick-off 8pm UK).
In pursuit of our first league win this calendar year, we face the side that brought our last top-flight success when we came away with a 1-0 win at Selhurst Park thanks to Archie Gray's first senior goal back on 28 December.
That victory in south London meant we have won six of our last eight league matches against Palace which also extends to 16 of our previous 21 such fixtures. We fell to a 2-0 defeat in this exact encounter in May last term but had previously won nine consecutive home league games between 2015/16 and 2023/24.
Currently sitting two places and six points ahead of us in 14th, Oliver Glasner's side ended a nine-game winless streak with a 1-0 win over Brighton last month but have since lost to Burnley and Manchester United either side of 1-0 victory over bottom side Wolverhampton Wanderers in recent weeks.

January signing Conor Gallagher will be keen to make an impact against his former side and can take confidence from his record in this fixture. The midfielder, who netted eight goals in 34 league appearances during his loan spell in 2021/22, has scored more Premier League goals against the Eagles than any other opponent (four) as he looks to get off the mark in Lilywhite.
Here are some other headline stats, courtesy of Opta, ahead of the London derby...
- We've only been beaten once in our last 17 Premier League home matches in the month of March (W13 D3).
- We've won six and drawn one of our last seven Premier League home matches in the month of March.
- The first match at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium was a 2-0 win against Crystal Palace on 3 April, 2019.
- This is Crystal Palace’s third consecutive Premier League meeting with Spurs while above them in the table. They’d only been above Spurs in two of their previous 22 against them (excluding games on MD1) since their return to the top-flight in 2013.
- This will be the eighth Premier League game played on a Thursday this season, while the previous seven have seen three 1-1 draws and four 0-0 draws. The goals/game average of 0.86 on Thursdays in 2025/26 is the lowest on any day of the week in a Premier League season to see more than one match played.
- We have lost six of their last seven home league London derbies (W1), including four of our five this season. Those four defeats are already the most home London derby losses in a single league campaign.
- Crystal Palace have failed to win any of their last six Premier League games played on a Thursday (D4 L2), drawing each of the last three.
- Palace have lost just one of their last nine away London derby matches in the Premier League (W5 D3), going down 1-0 at Arsenal in October.
