Pape Matar Sarr featured as a second-half substitute for Senegal in their 2-0 friendly win against Peru on the outskirts of Paris on Saturday.
The midfielder stepped off the bench with 10 minutes remaining and with his side already two goals to the good, helping them see out the final stages at Stade de France.
Earlier in the day, a number of our young players were on duty for their nations.
Malachi Hardy completed 90 minutes for England Under-18s as they suffered a 3-1 defeat to Spain in Croatia, while both Oscar Sandiford and Ollie Boast saw game time as England Under-17s lost a European qualifier to Israel by the same scoreline at St George’s Park. Right-back Oscar completed the full game, with striker Ollie coming off the bench in the 63rd minute.
George Feeney, meanwhile, completed 90 minutes for Northern Ireland Under-19s as they battled out a goalless draw with hosts Romania in European Under-19 Championship qualifying action, while Armend Muslika captained Albania Under-17s in a 2-0 friendly win over Latvia.
