We’re delighted to announce a three-year partnership with Pymble Ladies’ College (Pymble), a girls’ school based in Sydney, Australia.
The partnership will see Spurs Football Development coach Tegan Burling based at Pymble for six months each year, delivering coaching clinics to students and the wider community through a shared mission to support the development of girls’ football in the region.
Burling will work closely with Pymble’s Football Head Coach, Chris Wood, to incorporate methodologies and insights from the Club’s football development teams into the coaching programme at Pymble.
Dr Kate Hadwen, Principal of Pymble Ladies’ College, said: “At Pymble, we believe in actively championing women’s football and ensuring our girls and young women have access to the very best opportunities to develop and grow — not only as athletes, but as confident, capable global citizens.
“We are excited to provide the means for our girls to pursue excellence, to stretch themselves and to imagine what might be possible on the world stage.”
Danny Mitchell, Head of Global Coaching at Tottenham Hotspur, said: “Tottenham Hotspur is delighted to partner with Pymble Ladies’ College, a school that shares our deep commitment to inclusion and the development of young people. We look forward to bringing the expertise and values of our programme to Pymble’s students and to growing the game for girls both at the College and across the wider community.”
The Spurs Football Development programme works closely with both our Academy and Women’s Junior Talent Pathway to ensure a competitive environment and maximise individuals’ potential. Our programmes are designed with the aim to improve and support the individual progression of all players through the development levels and player pathways that are inspired by the club’s player development framework.
Our men’s first team will be visiting Sydney this summer for our 2026 pre-season tour, during which our football development coaches will deliver technical programmes to help young players in the region fulfil their potential, as is Club tradition.
