Following Wednesday night's 2-0 win away to Eintracht Frankfurt in the UEFA Champions League, Guglielmo Vicario now leads the way in the Golden Glove after recording his sixth clean sheet across the eight league phase matches.
On a quiet evening for the Italian shot stopper, who didn't have a save to make in Germany, second-half goals from Randal Kolo Muani and Dominic Solanke got the job done down the other end to secure fourth spot and a direct place in the round of 16.
Despite not having to play a huge role in last night's success, our number one has certainly played his part during our impressive European campaign and has kept out more sides than any other goalkeeper at this stage of the competition.
Vic's journey to top spot through the league phase got off to the perfect start in our 1-0 home win over Villarreal on his Champions League debut before conceding twice in our 2-2 draw away to Bodo/Glimt on Matchday Two.
His next shutout came in the goalless draw in Monaco where he produced arguably one of his finest displays in a Spurs shirt. The Italy international was in inspired form between the sticks as he superbly kept the Ligue 1 side at bay and finished with a staggering nine saves - his low stop to deny Folarin Balogun the pick of the bunch - to claim the Player of the Match vote.
He added four saves to the tally after a consecutive clean sheet in a dominant 4-0 home success over FC Copenhagen followed on Matchday Four, before the second and final match he conceded in came in the frenetic 5-3 defeat to holders Paris Saint-Germain in the Parc des Princes.
Not letting another goal past him for the remaining three outings - Slavia Prague (3-0), Borussia Dortmund (2-0) and Frankfurt (2-0) - Vic ended the league phase with 25 saves and climbed above Arsenal's David Raya (five) to be the outright leader of the pack.
Newcastle United's Nick Pope (four) and Yann Sommer of Inter Milan (four) round off this season's current top four, with Inter's Sommer the only goalkeeper to better Vic's tally at this stage in the Champions League after his seven clean sheets in the 2024/25 league phase edition.
