Guglielmo Vicario became our latest player to reach 100 appearances for the Club.
Vic (Legacy Number 876) brought up his century at the exact same ground where he made his Spurs debut when he lined up at the Gtech Community Stadium in our goalless draw with Brentford in the Premier League on New Year's Day, 2026.
Speaking to Sky Sports ahead of Thursday night's encounter in west London, he said: "It's a big privilege for me, 100 appearances, the first one in Brentford and the 100th in Brentford, so that's a bit of a coincidence.
"I'm happy. Thinking back to when I started, it gives me some goosebumps to reach 100 appearances for this club, winning a trophy, hopefully more to come."
A summer signing from Italian side Empoli in 2023, the 29-year-old made his competitive debut for the Club in our 2-2 draw at the Bees to start the 2023/24 campaign and went on to play every minute in the Premier League that term in a standout debut season in England.
Our number one, formerly number 13, went on to earn the first of his five Italy caps in March, 2024 before sustaining a serious ankle injury at Manchester City on 23 November the following campaign despite playing for an hour with a fracture to his right ankle to keep the clean sheet in the 4-0 win.
After undergoing surgery and working hard on his recovery, the goalkeeper returned 85 days later with a shutout in our 1-0 victory over Manchester United in February last year and played the entirety of the UEFA Europa League knockout stages on our way to lifting the trophy with another 1-0 win over United in Bilbao in the May.
Vic, who captained the side on two occasions in 2024/25, had an emotional return to his hometown of Udine when they hosted the UEFA Super Cup between us and Paris Saint-Germain at the start of this season and has added a further 25 appearances to his tally across the Premier League and Champions League this term.
