Legacy Number assigned to Byfield

Jun’ai Byfield has become the latest player to officially earn a Spurs Legacy Number.

The 17-year-old defender, a product of our Academy, came on for his debut in place of Lucas Bergvall in the 63rd minute of our 2-0 home win over Borussia Dortmund on Tuesday night, dropping in at right-back with Pedro Porro moving to central midfield.

In doing so, Jun’ai collected Legacy Number 902.

It was the second time in a week that a new Legacy Number has been assigned, after recent arrival Conor Gallagher became the 901st man to play for Spurs in our home defeat to West Ham United on Saturday.

Legacy Numbers were introduced in 2023 to recognise every player who has worn our colours in a competitive first team game in our history.
