Victory at Villa Park equals our WSL record for wins

Our impressive 7-3 win over Aston Villa on Sunday afternoon saw us equal our record for most wins in a single Women’s Super League campaign.
As we ran out winners in the ten-goal thriller at Villa Park - just the second time we’ve scored five or more goals in a league game - it saw us claim our ninth victory of the campaign in the competition.
That levelled our Club record for wins in a campaign, which we set in the 2021/22 season. That year, we also recorded our best-ever season in the WSL to date for both points and finishing place – a fifth-place finish in the table with 32 points.
With six games left to play this term in the WSL, we are currently sat fifth in the current standings, level on points with Arsenal having played two more games, and one more victory could see us match our best point tally in a single season in England’s top flight.
