Summanen hits major Spurs milestone

Eveliina Summanen reached a major milestone in her Spurs career on Sunday as she made his 100th appearance for the Club.

Starting in our Barclays Women’s Super League victory at West Ham United, the midfielder, who joined us in January, 2022, from Kristianstads DFF, hit a century of games in Lilywhite.

A consistent performer in the heart of our midfield across the last five seasons in England’s top flight, Eve has become a fan’s favourite throughout the years with her tough-tackling performances combined with her eye for goal, scoring some absolute beauties during her time at the Club to date.

She is just the third player in the current squad to have reached that milestone for the Club – Molly Bartrip and Jess Naz to have done so far before.

Of her 100 games for the Club, 82 of those came in the WSL, scoring eight goals and registering 12 assists – our current all-time highest assist-maker in our WSL era.

The Finland international has then made seven appearances in the Women’s FA Cup and 11 in the Women’s League Cup.

She has scored a further three goals in those competitions, taking her tally to 11 goals in total.
