Thomas Frank reported that Cristian Romero was forced off through illness in Sunday's 2-2 draw with Manchester City.
The defender had struggled through Wednesday's victory in Frankfurt with illness, but battled on to complete the full 90 minutes as we booked our place in the Champions League round of 16 with a 2-0 win over Eintracht - his 150th game for the Club.
Still under the weather come today's meeting with the Citizens, the centre-back led us out and played the first 45 minutes before having to be substituted for Pape Matar Sarr at the break.
Thomas Frank was later asked about the reasoning behind the decision to take Cuti off at half-time in his post-match press conference.
"(It was because of) illness. So we are assessing him. Hopefully he is fine," Thomas said.
"He struggled through the Frankfurt game as well but he pushed through that with a fantastic captain's performance. He struggled a little bit (today) but we hope it's nothing."
