Xavi Simons has claimed your HSBC Player of the Match award after he starred in Saturday's 2-0 win over Brentford in the Premier League
Back to winning ways at home in the league, Xavi was at the heart of both of our goals, assisting Richarlison's opener on 25 minutes before scoring one of his own - his first since his summer move to N17 - on 43 minutes as he ran with the ball from his own half before stroking it home from inside the area.
The goal saw him become our 180th different goalscorer in the Premier League while he also became the 49th different Spurs player to score at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium.
He also became just the third player to both score and assist in a Premier League game for us this campaign after Mohammed Kudus at Leeds United and Lucas Bergvall at West Ham United.
