Tottenham Hotspur
Tottenham Hotspur Stadium is a place where all supporters should feel safe and welcome. We help to ensure this by providing fans with easy ways of reporting concerns or incidents on matchdays – and acting decisively on these reports when we receive them.
In addition to regular reminders about how to report matchday incidents, we provide supporters with an annual update on how incidents from the previous season were investigated and dealt with.
Our update for the 2024/25 season is detailed below. By sharing this information, we hope to encourage supporters to continue reporting incidents if and when they see them. In doing so, you are helping to keep our stadium safe, inclusive and welcoming for all.
Incident management | 2024/25 season update
All reports the Club receives are managed and investigated by the Club’s Safety team - and throughout 2024/25, over 1,100 investigations were conducted into reports submitted on or shortly after matchdays.
Over 500 of these reports came directly from the victims of ticket touts who were denied entry to the stadium. In each of these cases, the Club was able to identify the accounts which mis-sold the tickets and issue them with bans. Tickets for future matches were also cancelled and released back for sale to genuine fans.
More than 150 investigations were conducted into reports of away fans in home areas. While the majority of these reports resulted in matchday ejections and monitoring programmes, they also prompted Club bans for offending accounts - as well as any accounts found to have sold tickets to them.
Over 100 reports did not require further action beyond the matchday outcome. In cases where investigations were unable to progress due to inconclusive evidence, follow-up measures were implemented at subsequent fixtures to gather additional evidence and prevent reoccurrence.

Fan education sessions
We strongly believe that education plays a key role in eliminating discrimination from our game. The Club therefore works closely with Kick It Out to deliver fan education sessions to any supporters found to have used discriminatory language on matchdays.
During these sessions, supporters are provided with information regarding the historical context behind various types of discrimination within football. They are also asked to reflect on their motivations for using discriminatory language and consider its harmful impact on others.
Engaging in any kind of discriminatory behaviour will typically result in a substantial ban, in accordance with our Sanctions and Banning policy. However, a supporter’s sanction may be reduced where they have genuinely and positively engaged in their session. Failure to attend a session will always result in the strongest possible sanction being issued.
How to report an incident
Ahead of the 2025/26 season, we would like to provide supporters with a reminder on how to report any concerns or incidents to us on matchdays. No report is too small and we would always recommend speaking to the nearest member of staff in the first instance.
Alternatively, incidents can also be reported via the Official Spurs and Stadium App or by texting 07537404821 with details of your location, the location of the offence, and one of the following keywords:
- FOUL (language & behaviour)
- ABUSE (abusive behaviour)
- RACISM (racist chanting & shouting)
- SEXISM (sexist comments or chanting)
- HPH (homophobic chanting)
- DRINK (drinking alcohol in view of the pitch)
- SMOKE (smoking in the stadium)
- STAND (persistent standing)
- PYRO (use of or intended use of any pyrotechnic or smoke bomb)
- HS (health and safety)
- Other (please specify)
To report something after an event, please contact us via our post-event feedback form and provide details about the location and timing of the incident.
