Watch: Bentancur hits exquisite pearler in Uruguay training

Rodrigo Bentancur produced a purring finish on the training pitch as the Uruguay National Team prepared for their March internationals.

This month, the La Celeste face two intriguing friendlies - first against the Basque Country in Bilbao, Spain, on Saturday evening (23 March) before they face the Cote d'Ivoire in Lens, France, on Tuesday evening (26 March).

Looking to add to his 56 international caps in those fixtures, Rodrigo is back in the Uruguay squad for just the second international break since the 2022 World Cup having endured an injury-hit 2023.

But now back fit, 'Lolo' is showing all the signs of just what a truly exceptional player he can be, especially in his latest exploits in training for his nation as he produced a stunning curler from outside the area.
