Johnson claims maiden Player of the Match vote after Hatters turnaround

Brennan Johnson has been named our supporters' HSBC Player of the Match for the first time in his Spurs career after he came of the bench to assist both of our goals as we came from behind to defeat Luton 2-1 on Saturday.

A summer signing from Nottingham Forest, Brennan claimed 49 per cent of the vote in an exclusive poll on our official app straight after the game.

Starting on the bench for the clash with the Bedfordshire outfit, the forward was introduced at the break as Ange Postecoglou looked to mastermind our fourth home turnaround of the year.

And the Wales international made the required impact as within six minutes of the restart, we were level with Brennan breaking down the right before crossing viciously across the box towards Timo Werner but Luton's Issa Kabore got there first, turning it into his own net.
