Bouncing back! Our five comeback wins under Ange

There has been a renewed vigour and character to us this season since the arrival of Ange Postecoglou - and that has been shown in our ability to come back from the brink.
Appointed our Head Coach in the summer, Ange has transformed our approach and reinvigorated the team with eyes fully focused on consistently improving and only looking forward.
And that has been clear to see in the development of the squad throughout the season. After a stunning start to the campaign - our best ever in terms of the Premier League - injuries hampered us but our character shone as we found ways to pick up results and continued to improve our game.
Those results have even come despite setbacks - a very promising sign in any team - as we have picked up 19 points from losing positions already this season - only the Premier League's top two, Liverpool (22) and Manchester City (21), have collected more such points. And that tally includes five complete turnarounds with some memorable fightbacks - the most wins we have earned from losing positions since the 2015/16 campaign (also five).
Here's a look back at all of our comeback wins so far this term...
Burnley 2-5 Spurs | September, 2023
Just under a month into Ange Postecoglou's Premier League career, he guided us to the first of those comeback wins as we came from 1-0 down at Burnley to run out 5-2 winners.
Part of our 10-game unbeaten start to the season, Lyle Foster gave us an early setback as he slotted the ball home with just four minutes gone at Turf Moor. However, we responded brilliantly to that as Heung-Min Son opened his account for the season with a deft chip to level 12 minutes later before Cristian Romero rifled in from range to turn the game on its head on the stroke of half-time.
With the wind in our sails, we romped away with it after the break with James Maddison curling home from the edge of the area on 54 minutes before Sonny went on to register a hat-trick with trademark finishes on 63 and 66 minutes. With the points sealed, Josh Brownhill grabbed the Clarets a late consolation with a close-range strike in added time.
Spurs 2-1 Sheffield United | September, 2023
And in our very next outing, we completed the escape act once more - and in quite ludicrous fashion.
Having been frustrated by Sheffield United throughout the clash, the visitors looked to have hit us with a sucker punch as Gustavo Hamer hit home to break the deadlock with 17 minutes to go. Yet, this team showed just how much belief Ange has imbued in the squad as, with eight minutes of additional time played, Richarlison got us back level, flicking home Ivan Perisic's corner for his first league goal of the season.
Then, just two minutes later, we completed the latest-ever comeback the Premier League has ever seen as Richy turned provider for Dejan Kulusevski to thump home and send the South Stand into absolute delirium.
Spurs 3-2 Brentford | January, 2024
Another game where we had been frustrated by our visitors to Tottenham Hotspur Stadium, a second-half salvo saw us come from behind to take all three points.
In a difficult first period, Neal Maupay had given Brentford the lead, sliding in to bundle the ball home with a quarter of an hour gone but, after a quick pep talk from Ange at the break, we came out for the second half firing on all cylinders and had flipped the script just four minutes after the restart. First Destiny Udogie stroked home from close range to level before a Brennan Johnson slid home Timo Werner's inch-perfect cross to see us go ahead.
An arrowed finish by Richarlison then made sure of the points seven minutes later despite Ivan Toney going on to reduce the Bees' arrears with 23 minutes remaining.
Spurs 2-1 Brighton | February, 2024
In our next home outing, it was a case of more of the same as we once again came from behind to take all three points in N17.
Welcoming the always-challenging opposition of Brighton & Hove Albion to Tottenham Hotspur Stadium, the Seagulls took the lead thanks to a 17th-minute penalty from Pascal Gross after Micky van de Ven was penalised for his challenge on Danny Welbeck.
Yet, just like against Brentford, after a frustrating first half, we made an electric start to the second with Pape Matar Sarr getting us level just after the hour mark with a close-range finish from the angle. We then went on and won the game with another late, late show in N17 - Brennan Johnson thrashing home Heung-Min Son's teasing delivery from the left in the sixth and final minute of added time.
Spurs 3-1 Crystal Palace | March, 2024
And we once again showed our impressive powers of recovery last time out as we came from behind to defeat Crystal Palace with another late showing at Tottenham Hotspur Stadiun.
In a game we controlled and dominated, we were once again left feeling frustrated when the Eagles took the lead just before the hour mark through an Eberechi Eze free-kick but our resolve never dropped as we piled forward to get an equaliser.
A number of gilt-edged opportunities fell our way before Timo Werner fired home his first Spurs goal to get us level on 77 minutes before Cristian Romero recorded his fourth goal of the campaign just three minutes level to flip the game on its head. Heung-Min Son then made sure of the win with two minutes remaining as he scampered through to slot home in style.
