Erik ten Hag expects a number of players to return from injury for United ahead of Sunday's Premier League encounter at Old Trafford.

Long-term injuries Lisandro Martinez, the Argentina defender out since September and Brazil midfielder Casemiro, out since November, are on ten Hag's list, which also includes England full-back Luke Shaw, Amad Diallo, winger Antony and former Spur, Christian Eriksen.

Speaking at his pre-match press conference on Friday, ten Hag said: "This week in training, in the last couple of days, Licha Martinez training, Casemiro training, Luke Shaw training. So, there are players returning, they are coming in for selection for Sunday.

“Antony, yeah. Eriksen was ill in the week, he will return. Antony will return. So, Amad will return. We have more choices in this moment in the squad to put out a starting XI and create a bench that is stronger.”

Harry Maguire may also be available, but Anthony Martial, Victor Lindelof, Mason Mount and Tyrell Malacia remain sidelined. Goalkeeper Andre Onana trained on Thursday, but may yet miss Sunday's clash as he's due to join the Cameroon squad at the Africa Cup of Nations - Cameroon's first game is on Monday. Sofyan Amrabat is also at the tournament with Morocco.
