With us set to welcome Brighton & Hove Albion in the Premier League this Saturday, here's a look at how we have fared against them at home in recent years.
In truth, when the Seagulls have paid us a visit, our record has been almost exemplary.
Since their promotion to the Premier League for the first time in 2017, we have hosted them eight times and have taken the spoils on seven of those occasions.
Seven of those have come in the top flight while we have also faced them in the FA Cup at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium. The sole time we failed to win was a 1-0 defeat to them late on in April, 2022.
Here's a look back at those clashes with the south coast side.
Spurs 2-0 Brighton
13 December, 2017 | Premier League
In our first-ever Premier League meeting with the then newly-promoted Brighton, we ultimately took all three points, but were certainly made to work for them.
Meeting at our then temporary home of Wembley, it took us 40 minutes to finally break the deadlock and it came in the most unorthodox of fashions as Serge Aurier's cross from the right looped in over Seagulls goalkeeper Mat Ryan.
And it wouldn't be until the 87th minute that we would make sure of the three points with a fairly unorthodox goal for Heung-Min Son's collection as he doubled our advantage with a diving header at the front-post.

23 April, 2019 | Premier League
In our third ever Premier League game at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium we edged Brighton with a late, late Christian Eriksen strike.
Despite the narrow margins on the scoreline, we bossed proceedings at our new home and twice had efforts cleared off the line in the first half however we were lacking that killer conviction, especially as the Seagulls' stubborn defence began to restricted us to efforts from distance.
That though seemed something we were happy to contend with, especially after Toby Alderweireld saw an effort it the post from the edge of the area. Then, with just two minutes left, Eriksen lined up a piledriver from just shy of thirty yards and, with incredible position drilled the ball home into the bottom right-hand corner to see us take all three points.

26 December, 2019 | Premier League
We continued our incredible Boxing Day run in the Premier League with another home victory over Brighton back in December, 2019.
We nearly made the perfect start to the clash as Harry Kane strolled through and opened the scoring with a fine finish on 24 minutes, but it was ruled out after a VAR Review for offside. However it was actually the away side that hit the front in the game as Adam Webster headed home eight minutes before half-time to score their first goal in N17 since 2005.
After the break though, good endeavour from Lucas Moura, a bit of luck and then a purring Harry Kane finish had us level on 53 minutes. Dele then scored our winner with perhaps an even better finish, clipping home Serge Aurier's cut-back to secure all three points.
Spurs 2-1 Brighton
1 November, 2020 | Premier League
As football went behind closed doors as the country battled the COVID-19 pandemic, Gareth Bale headed home the first goal of his Spurs homecoming to see us to victory over Brighton in the Premier League.
In a typically tense and end-to-end encounter with the Seagulls, we took the lead on 13 minutes when Harry Kane once again found the back of the net against the south coast side, dispatching a penalty on 13 minutes. However with a fine team move, Brighton pulled level 40 minutes later as Tariq Lamptey guided home from the angle.
Yet, it would be our night in north London as Gareth Bale rolled back the years, heading home Sergio Reguilon's - our other summer arrival from Real Madrid - cross with aplomb.
Spurs 3-1 Brighton
5 February, 2022 | FA Cup, fourth round
Our only home clash with Brighton since their 2017 promotion which hasn't come in the Premier League, we ran out 3-1 winners over the Seagulls to get to the fifth round of the FA Cup in February, 2022.
Harry Kane - once again - hit the front against the south coast side, curling home with a stunning finish on 13 minutes before Emerson Royal saw his cross take a wild looping deflection off Solly March and fly over the top of Robert Sanchez and into the net with 24 minutes played.
Brighton got back into the game on 63 minutes with a piece of solo brilliance from soon to be Spurs man Yves Bissouma, who recovered possession in midfield before running out into the left channel, cutting back in and drilling home from the edge of the area. But we hit back almost instantly with Harry Kane sliding home three minutes later after a lung bursting run from Heung-Min Son to seal our place in round five.
Spurs 0-1 Brighton
16 April, 2022 | Premier League
Our only home defeat to Brighton in the Premier League came just two months after that FA Cup win as we fell late on in N17.
Heading into the game on a run of four straight wins and six wins in our last seven matches, the defeat came entirely against the form guide - especially as that was our only defeat in our final 11 games as we went on to secure a return to the Champions League.
It was a game we really struggled to assert ourselves on and that showed in that statistics as we didn't even register a shot on target in the game. And just as it looked like the spoils would be shared, Leandro Trossard nipped in down the left and flicked the ball home to see the Seagulls swoop and steal the points.

The next time we met though, it was almost roles reversed as we claimed all three points against the Seagulls despite the form guide suggesting otherwise.
While Brighton were flying in the top flight as they charged towards towards a European spot, we, albeit sitting two places higher in the table in fifth and just three points off third, we were beginning to falter, and that could be seen in the play.
We took the lead on 10 minutes and in some style as Heung-Min Son curled home with one of his trademark strikes to reach the 100 goal milestone in the Premier League yet Brighton went on to dominate and, after Kaoru Mitoma had an effort ruled our for handball, Lewis Dunk had them level nine minutes before the break with a thumping header.
And the Seagulls took their momentum into the second period and thought they had taken the lead when Danny Welbeck struck but this was again ruled out for handball. Tempers flared on the bench which saw both sides' head coaches dismissed before we went onto win the game. Once again Harry Kane popping up to steer home against Brighton with just 10 minutes remaining.
