Everton vs Spurs | How to watch, team news, kit colours, key information

Fri 02 February 2024, 23:20|Tottenham Hotspur

It’s a quick turnaround following Wednesday night’s home win over Brentford as we prepare to head to Goodison Park to take on Everton on Saturday lunchtime (12.30pm UK).

Here’s all you need to know...

How can I watch the game?

Saturday’s match will be televised live in the UK on TNT Sports 1, kick-off 12.30pm.

Radio commentary will be available on talkSPORT, with broadcast information for fans following us from overseas available here.

Remember, you can also follow all the action via our Match Centre here on tottenhamhotspur.com and the Spurs Official app, where you’ll find live text updates and audio commentary, images, stats and so much more.

Video highlights will be available on SPURSPLAY from two hours after the game, with a full match replay available from midnight on the same platform.

What is the team news?

Pape Matar Sarr could feature for us after Senegal’s journey at the Africa Cup of Nations came to an end earlier this week.

“We’ll see how it goes. He’s had a long trip back so we’ll see how he holds up in training and make a decision around him. Everyone else got through the game (against Brentford) okay, we’re the same as Wednesday night,” Ange Postecoglou told SPURSPLAY on Friday.

Giovani Lo Celso and Ryan Sessegnon remain sidelined while Heung-Min Son and Yves Bissouma are still on international duty.

As for Everton, former Spur Arnaut Danjuma is a doubt after being forced off late in their goalless draw with Fulham on Tuesday night.

Idrissa Gana Gueye is back from international duty but Abdoulaye Doucoure remains sidelined.

Amadou Onana is also considered doubtful while Seamus Coleman will be assessed.

Who is the referee?

Michael Oliver will take charge of Saturday’s match, assisted by Dan Cook and Wade Smith.

The fourth official will be Andy Madley, with Stuart Attwell and assistant Harry Lennard handling VAR responsibilities.

What colours will the teams be playing in?

Everton will wear their usual blue shirts, white shorts and white socks at Goodison Park.

That means we’ll be wearing our taupe haze third kit on Saturday.

Everton’s goalkeeper will wear green, with ours in yellow.

What will the weather conditions be like?

Light rain is forecast on Merseyside on Saturday lunchtime. There’ll be a moderate breeze, with temperatures at around 10 degrees.
