Akhamrich up for Premier League 2 Player of the Month

Yusuf Akhamrich has been nominated for November’s Premier League 2 Player of the Month award.
The 19-year-old left winger contributed four goals across two league games for our Under-21s last month, netting our consolation in the 5-1 loss at Crystal Palace on 1 November before rattling in an excellent hat-trick in last week’s 6-1 home triumph over Middlesbrough.
Also in the running for the award are Joe Garner and Jack Perkins of Nottingham Forest, Chelsea’s Tyrique George, Liverpool’s Kieran Morrison, Sunderland’s Trey Ogunsuyi, Callum Osmand of Fulham and Jemiah Umolu of Crystal Palace.
The nominees were selected by the Premier League Football Development Panel after club coaches proposed the best performances by opposing players throughout last month. The panel will also decide the winner, who will be revealed next week.
