Van de Ven your Player of the Match vote after Forest triumph

Micky van de Ven has been scooped our supporters' HSBC Player of the Match after his commanding display against Nottingham Forest on Sunday evening.

A summer signing from Vfl Wolfsburg, it was Micky's fourth such prize of the campaign - only Heung-Min Son has won more (six) - as he claimed 75 per cent of the vote in an exclusive poll on our official app straight after the game.

Back up to full speed after his brief injury lay-off, the defender dominated proceedings at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium - and that is shown in the statistics.

Only one player had more touches of the ball in the game than Micky (85) - that was his defensive partner Cristian Romero (93) - while no other outfield starter enjoyed a better pass completion rate (94 per cent).
