Club supports Premier League's No Room for Racism campaign

Fri 05 April 2024, 11:30|Tottenham Hotspur

Our home fixture against Nottingham Forest will be the Club’s dedicated No Room For Racism game, with all Premier League matches from 6-15 April supporting the campaign.

The Club is proud to continue its support for No Room For Racism, which serves as an opportunity for the Premier League and its clubs to come together to reinforce important messaging around our collective commitment to improving diversity and promoting allyship. As a result, this game has been selected as a fixture in which the players will take the knee before kick-off.

In addition to supporting the Premier League campaign, we have worked with the educational charity Show Racism the Red Card to provide local school children with the opportunity to take part in a series of workshops designed to tackle racism through education. We are also proud to hold the Advanced Level certificate for the Premier League Equality, Diversity and Inclusion Standard (PLEDIS).

We have a zero-tolerance approach to any form of discrimination as we aim to provide a safe, welcoming and inclusive experience for all supporters at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium and in our online communities. Our policies and processes on tackling abuse are clearly defined in our Sanctions and Banning policy, ensuring that supporters know how they can report any concerns to us and the many ways in which we offer our support.

In addition to the above, we have robust reporting systems in place on matchday, with a dedicated reporting line enabling fans to report concerns directly to the Control Room either via text message or through the official Tottenham Hotspur Stadium app. All reports are treated in the strictest confidence and ensure the Stadium Management team can monitor and act at the time of any incidents occurring.

The Club is proud of the rich ethnic diversity that exists within our local communities, amongst our global fanbase, our staff and the players from all countries and backgrounds who have represented our Club over the years.

Everyone has a role to play to ensure football is inclusive for all – together we can make it clear there is no room for racism.
