Tottenham HotspurRobert Vilahamn has confirmed that Amy Turner is fit again and available for selection in Sunday’s Women’s Super League season opener at Chelsea.
Defender Amy hasn’t featured in any of our pre-season matches after picking up a knock, but Robert confirmed on Friday afternoon that she’s now back and ready to face the Blues in this weekend’s clash at Stamford Bridge (5.30pm UK).
Captain Bethany England is sidelined after a minor surgical procedure on her hip, while new loan signing Zhang Linyan is away at the Asian Games.
Long-term absentees Ellie Brazil and Ramona Petzelberger continue to train as they work their way back to full fitness, although Robert told us: “They are both training but they are not ready for this weekend.”
