Heung-Min Son captained South Korea once more as they ran out 1-0 victors over Saudi Arabia at Newcastle United St James' Park on Tuesday afternoon.

Having earned a 0-0 draw against Ben Davies, Joe Rodon and Brennan Johnson's Wales at the Cardiff City Stadium on Thursday night, Sonny wrapped up his international duties in the north east of England with a win.

South Korea's first triumph under the stewardship of Spurs legend Jurgen Klinsmann, Midtjylland's Cho Gue-sung scored the only goal of the game on 32 minutes, heading in after a brilliant dummy from Sonny in the build-up. Our number seven should have then been awarded a penalty five minutes later after he was brought down in the box, however the referee opted to award a goal kick to Roberto Mancini's side.

That was Sonny's 113th cap for his nation.
