Always one of the games of the season, we welcome Liverpool to Tottenham Hotspur Stadium in the Premier League on Saturday (5.30pm). Here's a rundown on the Reds...

Form

One of four unbeaten teams remaining in the Premier League - alongside us, Arsenal and City - Liverpool are on a run of 17 without defeat (won 12, draw five), the longest unbeaten run in Europe's major leagues - including eight away matches. Interestingly, they've conceded first in their last three matches on the road (Newcastle, Wolves in the Premier League, LASK in the Europa League) and won the lot.

Players to watch

Liverpool said goodbye to some big players this summer - the likes of Jordan Henderson, Fabinho, Roberto Firmino, James Milner, Naby Keita and Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain all departing. Jurgen Klopp's rebuild is on and it looks like the Reds are going in the right direction with Ryan Gravenberch (Bayern Munich), World Cup winner Alexis Mac Allister (Brighton), Dominik Szoboszlai (RB Leipzig) and Wataru Endo (Stuttgart) all arriving this summer. Hungary international Szoboszlai has particularly impressed, hitting a rocket in Liverpool's Carabao Cup win against Leicester City in midweek.

Manager - Jurgen Klopp

A one-club man as a player with FSV Mainz 05 in Germany, Klopp took over as manager on retiring and led the team to the Bundesliga for the first time in their history in 2003/04. They were relegated in 2007, but Borussia Dortmund soon came knocking, and Klopp delivered two Bundesliga titles, a German cup and a Champions League final to Die Schwarzgelben before arriving in the Premier League at Liverpool in 2015 - his first match, coincidentally, a goalless draw at the Lane. His 'heavy metal' football has since secured Liverpool's first Premier League title in 30 years in 2019/2020 plus the FA Cup, League Cup, UEFA Super Cup and FIFA World Club Cup. They've also been runners-up in two more Champions League finals and the Europa League. He's coached over 1,000 games in his career and has a 60% win rate at Liverpool.

Last time we met

What a game this was (okay, maybe for the neutral!). Just a fortnight after finding ourselves 5-0 down at Newcastle in 21 minutes, we were 3-0 down after 15 at Anfield but this time we fought back. Harry Kane pulled one back just before half-time and it was no surprise when first, Heung-Min Son made it 3-2 (77 minutes) and then Richarlison, the former Everton striker, came off the bench to level in the third minute of added time. Unfortunately, there was still time for Liverpool to restart, they went long, Lucas Moura left a back pass short to Fraser Forster and Diogo Joto pounced for the winner.
